About: This was Inspired by the 1960’s space race and Soviet iconography: Yuri Gagarin was a Soviet cosmonaut. He became the first human to journey into outer space when his Vostok spacecraft completed one orbit of the Earth on 12 April 1961. Some sources claimed that Gagarin had remarked during the flight “I don’t see any God up here.” But no such words were recorded in the official transcript of the flight and his friends later said the phrase had originated from anti-religious Soviet propaganda.
